334. Chainsaw Man

We're back to covering anime this week with Chainsaw Man! A show I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy very much but ended up enjoying quite a lot. The vast amount of gore, violence and straight up adult content makes this one a little tricky to talk about on a PG podcast but stop by as we talk about this crazy addition to the Shonen Jump library and it's highly successful anime adaptation!

333. White Cat Legend

This week we have a special guest to talk about the not-very-well-known Chinese animation White Cat Legend! We also talk about the implications of a rising Chinese market share in the Animation space and what to expect in the future as more and more Chinese stories and media get shared over here in the states. 332. My Hero Academia - Hospital Raid Arc

Season 6 of My Hero Academia is here and it gets crazy right off the bat! No recap episode, no lead-ins. We hit the ground running with crazy fast story progression and sick animation. It only gets even more crazy as all the characters of the show have a chance to show and have something to do in this crazy multi-city campaign. 331. Owl House Season 3x02

The Owl House approaches it's finale ever so slowly with it's second of three special episodes. We are revving up to a serious climax as Luz and her friends return to the Boiling Ilses to confront the collector, find Bellos and save their family from being playthings of a cosmic being. We get laughs, we get love and a brand new birth of a Palisman! Let's toon in now!

330. Bleach: 1000 Year Blood War - Season 1

Bleach is BACK baby and the first 13 episode cores have been released! The Sternritter have invaded Hueco Mundo and the Seireitei and only Ichigo can stop the Quincy onslaught. But will he be able to do so on his own? And what mysterious past is Ywache hiding about Ichigo's lineage? If you haven't watched these episodes yet then turn around and do so before diving into our coverage of Bleach: 1000 Year Blood War Season 1!

329. Pinocchio

Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio on Netflix is another huge hit for the streaming platform and for stop motion animation. Having won several awards in the early season as well as being critically acclaimed and highly engaged on the streaming platform the new rendition of the story seems to have resonated much higher in the zeitgeist than the bog standard Disney Reboot of their own landmark animated feature. Let's talk about what makes this new Pinocchio shine!

328. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish

The best movie of 2022 was easily Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. What an absolutely perfect animated film to come in clutch at the end of the year. It brought back a sense of fun, heart, pacing and zeal that has been seriously lacking from it's Disney and Pixar counterparts. Not to mention REALLY GREAT VILLAINS! We need to get things back in the direction that Puss in Boots is taking us and we're here to explain to you what that direction is. Toon in now!

It’s the very first edition of ANIME MOVIE NIGHT (night, night night)! A brand new show idea where we sit down and watch an Anime Movie and talk about our immediate impressions.
